SALES ASSOCIATE/MARKETING ASSISTANT

Location: Santa Fe, NM store

Description: This position should provide customers their best service experience in a unique shopping environment. You are the face of French & French – creative and obsessed with design like we are!

What You’ll Do:

Supports management in creating a fun, inviting environment for customers to create a connection with the French & French brand
Self driven in own career development and product education, contributing knowledge and ideas to manager
Maintain the French & French aesthetic throughout the space to include signage, lighting and general upkeep
Accurately process sales, exchanges and returns
Communicate with management on inventory needs
What We Need:

1-2 years of retail experience
A positive, happy individual who will contribute to the team – no egos here, please!
Open availability and flexibility to meet the needs of the business
In addition to your role as a Sales Associate we’re seeking a fresh and creative Marketing Assitant to actively monitor and engage with our online communities like Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest & Instagram, etc. to grow the shop following and gain clients.

The Requirements:

• Passionate about social media and interior design
• Demonstrate an active use of social media as well as an understanding of the social web
• Confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly and concisely (verbal and written)
• Identify key partners for collaboration projects
• Help manage company accounts including forwarding social media inquiries to operations team members
• Participate in internal creative strategy sessions

Must Have:

Strong AutoCAD skills
Strong Adobe Illustrator skills
A solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop
Strong knowledge of trade sources
Extreme attention to detail
Great communication and experience consulting directly with clients
Confidence and ability to communicate your ideas clearly
Strong leadership and self-motivation
Great multi-tasking skills
• Diligent worker with the ability to be flexible

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be able to bring own laptop to work
• Has strong research, writing, organizational and grammar skills
• Loves all things digital and understands relevant social media platforms from a business perspective
• Works well in a fast-paced environment

The Commitment

We’re looking for 15-25 hours per week, must work Saturday’s.

OPERATIONS INTERN:

We’re looking for a bright, organized, go-getter to join us as an intern to assist the design team with project execution.

The role of design intern would entail:

Assisting project manager with full service project organization
Coordinating tracking, etas, and working with vendors to prepare for project completions
Updating spreadsheets for orders and warehouse information
Errand running
Organizing product for installs
We’ve got so much going on – believe us when we say, you’ll be busy!

What we’d like to see:

• Strong self-motivation and extreme attention to detail

• Confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly and concisely (verbal and written)

• The ability to work with a team

• A great attitude

• Killer work ethic

What you’ll learn:

Learn how to keep projects organized and running smoothly.

Gain experience with organizing multiple projects at a time.
Learn skill sets to successfully guide a project to completion.

The Commitment

We’re looking for 10-15 hours per week. The role is unpaid during the duration of the internship, but if you kick-butt (and we really hope you will!) a paid opportunity will be available upon completion.

DESIGN INTERN:

Position: Design Intern

Location: Santa Fe Office

French & French is growing! We’re looking for a bright, enthusiastic, designer-in-training to join us as an intern to assist the design team with project execution.

The role of design intern would entail: order management; obtaining samples; running errands; and drafting in Photoshop, Illustrator and AutoCAD (AutoCAD skills a plus, but not required). We’ve got so much going on – believe us when we say, you’ll be busy!

What we’d like to see:

• Completed at least 1 year of design school/training

• Strong self-motivation and extreme attention to detail

• Confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly and concisely (verbal and written)

• The ability to work with a team

• A great attitude – no egos here, please

• Killer work ethic (lots to do here, no slackers allowed!)
